About Bloom Leather
Bloom Leather is an Italian full grain calfskin leather semi-aniline dyed with a deep lustre. Showcasing the natural pebbled finish of the leather, Bloom is light and has a supple handfeel.
The semi-aniline dye is water based liquid obtained from the organic synthesis of resins. The dye penetrates through the full grain leather, preserving its original surface with all natural markings and characteristics, leaving the rich feel of the leather intact.
CARING FOR BLOOM LEATHER
- Wipe off any surface dirt with a soft damp cloth. Do not spot clean; wipe down the whole section stitch to stitch to avoid color variations and spotting.
- Use m0851 water-based Leather Protector which will offer a shield from unwanted markings and spills and will also recondition the leather.
- Use m0851 Leather Cleaner for deeper stains. Do not spot clean; wipe down the whole section using a damp clean cloth with the cleaner on it.
- Always use m0851 Leather Protector to recondition the leather after using the m0851 Leather Cleaner. Both products need to be used together, as the cleaner strips away some of the protective layer of the leather. Again, make sure to wipe down entire section stitch.
- When exposed to heavy rain, the leather may become stiff. Wipe off water with a clean dry cloth and lay your product flat to allow a full drying. Once completely dry, apply m0851 Leather Protector to restore the leather’s suppleness.
- Tana Leather Protector Spray #16 or Moneysworth Best Spray Protector can be used on Bloom leather to protect it against stain and spillage.
