About Mat Aniline Leather
Mat Aniline Leather is a full grain calfskin leather aniline dyed to obtain a deep lustre and a satin finish. Aniline dye is a colorless, nontoxic water based liquid obtained from the organic synthesis of resins. The dye penetrates through the full grain leather, preserving its original surface with all natural markings and characteristics, leaving the rich feel of the leather intact.
As it is deep dyed, Mat Aniline is prone to color transfer upon initial wear and your item should be protected with Moneysworth & Best Pro-Tex Water&Stain spray protector. High humidity or rain can increase the risk of color transfer and should be avoided.
